Welcome, Kaylee!

Kaylee Marie Lambright was born at 11:35 AM today, 10-11-2007. She weighs in at 6lbs., 11.8oz. and is 18 7/8 in. in length.
Mother and baby are fine and healthy.

They are doing a C-section in one of the other birthing rooms. When that is complete, they will proceed with our induction. So it’ll be a little bit.

Hurry up and wait

The doctor was just here to do a final ultrasound. Everything looks fine. Nicole is a little more dilated but will still need some help. There are a variety of drugs and methods; we haven’t settled on anything yet but that decision will come soon.

Getting set up

We’re in the room and Nicole is all wired up with monitors and sensors. We can hear the baby’s heartbeat pretty strong. Nicole is talking with the nurse about her medication and other medical history. Stay tuned.
