The Very Rich Hours of the Lambrights

In the last few weeks, Rayna has become very fond of books. Before, she was interested in them the same way she would be interested in any toy–something to chew on, throw, touch, etc. Now, she actually looks through the pages and seems to understand that each one has its own content. Sitting on Nicole’s or my lap and looking through a book has become part of the bed-time ritual. In fact, I usually just say “Go get a book” and her face lights up with a big smile as she grabs a book and comes trotting over.

Her current favorite is Jane’s Animal Expedition.
