WILSWorld 2007

July 25th, 2007 · No Comments

I’m in Madison, WI for the WILSWorld 2007 conference. I’m blogging the conference at SELCO Librarian; I won’t crosspost that here but check it out if you are interested in library technology. For those who are not interested, I give you a small, blurry picture of some sailboats on Lake Mendota.

Some worthless piece of human garbage broke into my car last night. Don’t know exactly when. I went out this morning to go to work and found the door just slightly ajar. The vehicle was ransacked with the contents of the glove box scattered around. I haven’t gotten in to do [...]

New Pics!

July 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

A few new pictures from playing outside last weekend are up on our picture site.  We tried out the new bubble machine.  Rayna didn’t quite know what to make of all the bubbles swirling around her.  She didn’t run away but she didn’t drop her guard, either.

Shameful

July 2nd, 2007 · No Comments

I try not to get too strident when making political comments here but I’m going to beg your indulgence today.  Two stories in the news got my attention, both of which have to with the Bush Administration.
Today, the President commuted Scooter Libby’s prison sentence for perjury and obstruction of justice. This is not a [...]
