Happy Easter!

And on the third day, he rose.

Happy Easter, everyone! Today, we’re getting ready for church and will then go to Nicole’s sister’s place in Rose Creek to celebrate. But first, we’ve hidden some plastic eggs around the living room and plan to turn Rayna loose on them after breakfast. “Hidden” is probably not the right word, actually. “Scattered around” is more accurate.

It’s been a busy week for the Lambrights. Last Sunday saw us driving to Missouri to see my mom and her friend Wayne. Rayna doesn’t get to see her grandma Lambright very often but they soon made up for lost time and were great friends. Nicole and I went to St. Joseph, where my dad is buried, and spent Tuesday in Kansas City with my good friend Andrew and his wife Jacque. Grandma encouraged us to get away and she did well keeping up with our active toddler. By Tuesday, I think she was a little tired. Nicole and I know how she feels. 🙂 It was a great trip and I know Rayna enjoyed it, especially watching birds with Grandma.

There are new pictures on our photo page (see the link to the right), mostly from the Missouri trip.
