The Very Rich Hours of the Lambrights

It’s about 10:30 on Tuesday evening and we’re settling in for a long night.  Rayna still wakes up two or three times each night and we’ve been using a bottle to get her back down.  I know, I know–we should have phased that out by now.  But we didn’t and we are starting tonight.  She’s got a sippy cup of water and that’s all we’re giving her until morning.

At the moment, she is screaming bloody murder.  I went in and tried to calm her down but eventually I had to just put her back in the crib with her cup, teddy bear, and blanket.  I’ll go back in a few minutes and try calming her down again.  But I think we’re just going to have to let her yell.

It’s gonna be a long night.
